 Green is the new Gold

83% trust a company more if it’s environmentally responsible. 72% would pay more for environmentally sound purchases if it saved money in the long-run. Purchasing decisions based on green policies jumped from 2 % to 33 %!  These are the latest numbers about the appeal of 'green.'   It's a time to be seen being green.   

The Green Tech Foundation proposes a communication program which is two-pronged.  For Green businesses who are being good citizens - marketing Green products, services, making Green changes - we are developing a means to 'tell the world' with a message that is credible.   The purpose is to enable these achievers to enjoy all the good fruits of their accomplishments, and at the same time, promote similar compliance by holding them up as a model.  That's our second level of communication.

Another important goal of the Green Tech Foundation is to allow businesses in the process of developing Green products, services, making Green changes to take positive action to promote the Green cause while enjoying recognition and the marketing leverage which comes with it - Converting good citizenship into good business.

 The Green Tech Foundation's Connecting the Green Dots Certification program program fosters a purpose driven partnership. It provides participants with close associations with credible environmental organizations, enabling the development of a powerful Green Marketing Program which combines aggressive advertising with a high impact Community-based PR campaign and customer loyalty programs. Cooperative media outlets enable the most efficient use of broadcast, affording Green Dot businesses cost savings and added value promotion. 

This program creates and implements a cost-effective advertising program – combining effective branding, merchandising with coordinated messages from participating Green Cause Organizations.  The Green Tech team designs a media strategy, and crafts the message which identifies and underlines the unique differences that Green Businesses bring as good neighbors and quality providers.

The program offers Green Businesses a more efficient way to reach consumers through media and public relations devices.  It helps assure and convince Green conscious consumers, through this 3rd party certification.

The certification is performed by a qualified, independent organizations, following established criteria.  Each member business earning this certification can display the Connecting the Green Dots seal and participate in the customer loyalty program. 

In addition, the Green Tech Foundation coordinates communication with regulatory agencies, and legislators capitalizing on the positive influence of Green Business accomplishments and community partnerships – like Green Cause organizations.

The key to this this program is effective communication, which honestly and clearly acknowledges and promotes good Green business practices.
