The Southern California Leadership Council
Public education campaign -  November 2006

In November of 2006, distinguished spokespersons joined together to address five key issues of profound importance to the region. This campaign is an example of an information-education campaign which utilized talk radio to reach a politically active and socially energized audience.

Among others these messages feature California governors Gray Davis, George Deukmejian and Pete Wilson.

Sample 1:  Gov. George Deukmejian stresses the need to improve the "transportation network" in order to solve traffic congestion.

Sample 2: Gov. Pete Wilson urges a trade - trucks for trains to ease congestion around our ports.

Sample 3: Gov. Gray Davis illustrates the difference between financing by bonds or taxes for long term needs like expanding freeways.
