Peter Peyton

Peter Peyton lives and works in the adjoining ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach California, which together constitute the largest, commercial seaport area in the United States.

 He is an active member of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) which since 1934 has been chosen by the thousands of West Coast port and dock workers to represent 60,000 working men and women in all matters related to their employment. 

The ILWU presently represents not only the longshore and maritime industry, but also warehouse, hotel-restaurant, health care, mining, office clerical and a variety of other industries in California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.
